Grant Program. He stated that the proposal is <br />essentially to obtain funds under the grant, which would enable <br />residence of the rental property in the 10th and Page Street Neighbor- <br />hood to purchase and rehabilitate their dwelling units. He stated <br />that the purpose of the Innovative Grant Projects Program is to assist <br />iow and moderate income residence to remain in neighborhoods which are <br />in the process of revitalization and to provide opportunities on an area <br />wide or intergovernmental basis for low and moderate income residence <br />to move outside cities if they so desire. He stated that in the <br />staff's discussion with CHIP they feel that they can put together a <br />proposal that will be attractive to HUD and that particularly attack <br /> <br /> <br />
