FIFE, PERMISSION WAS GRANTED TO ANY MERCHANT WHO <br /> NORMALLY DISPLAYS FLOWERS-ON THE SIDEWALK, TO DISPLAY FLOWERS ON THE SIDEWALK FOR A PERIOD <br /> OF FORTY-FIVE (45) DAYS, PROVIDED~ SUCH DISPLAY DOES NOT EXTEND FURTHER THAN TWO FEET FROM <br /> THE BUILDING LINE, AND PROVIDED FURTHER, THAT MERCHANTS DISPLAYING SUCH MERCHANDISE AGREE'TO <br /> SAVE THE CITY HARMLESS FROM ALL CLAIMS THAT MAY ARISE BY REASON OF SUCH DISPLAY. <br /> THE MANAGER OF Mc CRoRYwS STORE ALSO REQUESTED PERMISSION TO ERECT A 7' X 7~ HOT DOG <br /> STAND ON THE SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF HIS STORE ON SATURDAY, APRIL 29, 1972. ON MOTION BY <br /> MR. FIFE, SECONDED BY MR. WRIGHT, PERMISSION WAS DENIED. <br /> DR. CHARLES GLEASO% DR. MORTON WILHELM AND DR. GEORGE ~3ORE ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL AND <br /> PRESENTED AN AREA WIDE COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH PLAN~ OBJECTIVES OF WHICH ARE MORE EFF~CIENT USE <br /> OF HEALTH CARE FACILITIES AND COORDINATION. DR. GLEASON STATED THAT TO IMPLEMENT THE PLAN <br /> THE ENDORSEMENT OF THE LOCALITIES IN DISTRICT 10 IS NEEDED. THE CITY MANAGER STATED THAT HE <br /> ENDORSED COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING WHEN PROPERLY DONE.
