Comments were: they got to hear bird calls and spend more time with <br />their fathers, they learned to cross safely at crosswalks and to wear reflective or light <br />clothe s; they took pictures of things that are safe and not safe during their walks and <br />pictures of pretty things; and they got to meet nice dogs and people on their walks. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scopione said there has been tremendous interest in continuing the program. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox expressed an interest in extending the free bus pass system to youths to <br />year round to encourage alternative transportation. <br /> <br />
