Minutes of July 7 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />b. : $1,750 - Parks Refund from Insuran ce Proceeds <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> that $1,750.00 received by the City of Charlottesville as <br />payment for damage to City property from VML Insurance be appropriated from account <br />51 - 111 - 151010 - 46211 in the Risk Management Fund to account 26 - 173 - 073 156 - 52199 <br />in the Capital Fund. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : Community Development Block Grant and Housing <br /> Opportunities Made Equal Grant for FY 03/04 <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , the City of Charlottesville has been advised of the approval by the <br />U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development of a Community Development <br />Block Grant for the 2003 - 2004 fiscal year in the total amount of $712,965, which <br />includes funds for the Rose Hill Neighborhood totaling $200,000, and program <br />income/reprogramming of $45,965. <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , City Council has received recommendations for the expenditure of <br />funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Task Force, the Ridge <br />Street Neighborhood CDBG Task Force and the City Planning Commission ; and has <br />conducted a public hearing thereon as provided by law; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the City Council of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the <br />sums hereinafter set forth are hereby appropriated from funds received from the aforesaid <br />grant to t he following individual expenditure accounts in the Community Development <br />Block Grant Fund for the respective purposes set forth; provided, however, that the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized to transfer funds between and among such individual <br />accounts as circumstances may require, to the extent permitted by applicable federal <br />grant regulations. <br /> <br />ACCOUNT PURPOSE AMOUNT <br /> <br />CODE <br /> <br />18 - 042 - 093655 Substantial Rehabilitation 03 - 04 $233,900 <br />
