She said she would like to include the request for yield to bus legislation again <br />this year. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jason Halbert, 803 Stonehenge Avenue, said that while the Bike and <br />Pedestrian Plan being considere d by Council is not perfect, we need a plan, and he urged <br />Council to approve it. He urged the City to put in bike lanes even if they are not <br />continuous. <br /> <br /> Referring to comments made by Mr. Foster, Mr. Cox said there is a shared <br />interest on the part of Cou ncil to evaluate the zoning ordinance. Regarding comments <br />made by Mr. Kleeman, Mr. Cox said that a Commonwealth Transportation Board <br />member is in town to discuss the misperceptions of the process surrounding the Best Buy <br />traffic light. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Caravati removed the appropriation of funds from the Paramount Theater for <br />undergrounding utilities and the ordinance regarding parking distance from the curb from <br />the consent agenda. <br /> <br /> Mr. Schilling asked that information be provided to Council about the current <br />balance in the Community Scholarship Fund. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Lynch, seconded by Ms. Richards, Council approved the <br />following consent agenda items by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, <br />Mr. Lynch, Ms. Richards, Mr. Schilling (exc ept for the appropriation to JABA).
