He said the Board of Architectural <br />Review has approved the café space and it is consistent w ith WRT recommendations for <br />the west end of the mall. Mr. Tolbert said the recommendation is to lease the space for <br />$2 a square foot, the same rate as other cafes on the mall. <br /> <br /> Mr. Schilling asked if this café would be subject to changes in the sidewalk café <br />ordinance, and Mr. Brown said those provisions are not in this lease but some could be <br />added. He noted that this is not a pedestrian walkway and the structure could be <br />removed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati asked about the notice requirement for removing the struct ure, and <br />Mr. Brown said it can be removed at the City's discretion. <br /> <br /> Ms. Martha Rowen, of RBGC Architects, said that half of the property for the <br />café belongs to the Omni. She said a retaining wall will be built to match the brick on the <br />mall, and the ca fé will have 50 to 60 seats. <br />
