THE <br /> STREET COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED THAT AN AGREEMENT BE ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE TWO <br /> PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE CiTY TO ESTABLISH A NEW STREET LINE. A NOTION BY HR, <br /> SCRIBNERp SECONDED BY MR. HAGGERTY THAT THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE STREET COMMITTEE <br /> BE APPROVED~ PROVIDED THE TWO PROPERTY OWNERS AGREE~ WAS UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED. <br /> <br /> MR. J. Mo ROBERTS ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL WITH REFERENCE TO THE SALES TAX. THE <br />MAYOR ADVISED HR.ROBERTS THAT THE MERITS OF THE SALES TAX WOULD NOT BE ARGUED~ BUT <br />AGREED THAT THE QUESTIONS WHICH HE HAD PREVIOUSLY PRESENTED WOULD BE ANSWERED BY <br />MR. HAGGERTY. <br /> <br /> REQUESTS FOR REZONING AT 2208 FONTAINE AVENUE AND THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE <br /> <br />OLD CITY GOLF COURSE OFF FAIRWAY AVENUE WERE REFERRED TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />FOR RECOMMENDATION. <br /> <br /> A REQUEST TO CLOSE THE UNDEVELOPED PORTION OF HANOVER STREET WAS REFERRED TO <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR RECOMMENDATION. <br /> <br /> A COMMUNICATION WAS PRESENTED FROM HUMBLE OIL ~ REFINING COMPANY REQUESTING <br />UTILITIES FOR A NEW FILLING STATION ON RiO ROAD, THIS REQUEST WAS REFERRED TO <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR RECOMMENDATION. <br /> <br /> ON MOTION BY MR. ON <br />MOTION BY MR. HAGGERTY~ SECONDED BY MR. SCRIBNER~ THE REQUEST FOR CITY UTILITIES <br />TO SERVE ROCKBROOK WAS GRANTED. <br /> <br /> ON MOTION BY MR. SCRIBNER~ SECONDED BY MR.
