VOGT. <br />ABSENT: NONE. <br /> <br /> A PUBLIC HEARING WAS HELD ON THIS DATE ON A REQUEST HO REZONE THE OLD BAILEY <br />PROPERTY FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL TO m-3 MULTIPLE DWELLING. A REPORT WAS PRESENTED <br />FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING THAT ALL THE PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE <br />OF A LINE EXTENDING SOUTHERLY ALONG THE CENTER LINE OF THE EXISTING 7½ STREET TO <br />JOHNSON VILLAGE BE REZONED TO R-3 AND THE REMAINDER TO REMAIN R-2 RESIDENTIAL. MR, <br />RICHARD BARRtCK ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL ON BEHALF OF THE PETITIONER IN FAVOR OF THE <br />CHANGE. SIX PEOPLE ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL IN OPPOSITION, AND A PETITION CONTAINING <br />APPROXIMATELY 1,100 SIGNATURES WAS PRESENTED IN OPPOSITION TO THE REQUEST. A MOTION <br />BY MR. HAGGERTY~ SECONDED BY MR. MOUNT, THAT THE ORIGINAL REQUEST BE DENIED WAS <br />UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED. A MOTION BY MR. RINEHART, SECONDED BY MR.
