<br /> 49 <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> AAA Mid-Atlantic has donated funds to the City of Charlottesville <br />in the amount of $2,700 to be used by the Police Department to conduct supplemental <br />D.U.I. enforcement patrols. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $2,700, received as a donation from AAA Mid- <br />Atlantic, is hereby appropriated into Fund 210, Internal Order #P-1900059. <br /> <br />nd <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : $78,000 – Asset Seizure Funds (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Charlottesville Police Department currently has <br />possession of cash in the amount of $78,000 seized as evidence relating to multiple <br />investigations, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $78,000 being held pending Court orders for <br />distribution, is hereby appropriated as follows: <br /> <br />Fund 105, Internal Order # 2000035 – JADE Seizures - $59,634 <br /> <br />Fund 105, Internal Order # 2000036 - Charlottesville Police Department Seizures - <br />$18,366 <br /> <br />BE IT ALSO RESOLVED <br /> that interest earned on these deposits will be <br />available to remit as part of an order as required. Any unclaimed interest is hereby <br />appropriated and included as part of the Police Department’s operating budget to be used <br />to cover administrative costs. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />d. : $3,455,376 – Albemarle County Share of Juvenile and <br />nd <br /> Domestic Relations Court Renovations (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City of Charlottesville and the County of Albemarle have agreed <br />on the terms of a cost-sharing agreement for the renovation and expansion of the Juvenile <br />and Domestic Relations District Court project; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , in June 2004 the City Council appropriated the sum of $7,383,991 <br />to be received from Albemarle County, which is a portion of its required share of the <br />current project costs; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , it is now necessary to appropriate an additional $3,455,376 to be <br />received from Albemarle County, which represents an amount approved by its Board of <br />Supervisors. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $3,455,376, to be received from the County of <br />Albemarle as a portion of its costs for the Court renovation project, is hereby <br />appropriated into Fund 426, Funded Program P-00197, Commitment Item 599999, and <br />shall then be transferred into Fund 426, Funded Program P-00197, Commitment Item <br />432030.
