3 3' <br />THE CITY MANAGER STATED THAT COPIES OF THE ACTS ADOPTED BY THE SPECIAL <br />SESSION OF THE LEGISLATURE WERE NOT YET AVAILABLE ANO HE WOULD RECOMMEND THAT <br />THE ADOPTION OF THE CITY'S BUDGETS AND LEVYING OF THE FAX RATE BE POSTPONED UNTIL <br />SUCH TIME AS THE ACTS BECOME AVAILABLE FOR INTERPRETATION. FIE ALSO STATED THAT <br />MATTER RE: BUDGETS SECTION 19 OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE CITY CODE PROVIDES THAT THE BUDGET BE ADOPTED <br />AND THE LEVY LAID BY APRIL THIRTIETH OF EACH YEAR, AND SINCE THiS COULD NOT BE <br />COMPLIED WITH HE SUGGESTED THAT THE ORDINANCE 6E AMENDED SO AS TO FIX THE DATE <br />AS MAY THIRTY-FIRST OF EACH YEAR.
