148 <br /> <br />JAUNT <br /> <br /> Ms. Linda Wilson, Director of the Jefferson Area United Transportation Service <br />(JALrNT), explained that there are more agency riders, more riders in the City, and more <br />people who use JAUNT services more often. Ms. Wilson added that elderly ridership within <br />the City has significantly increased as well. <br /> <br /> Mr. Toscano expressed concern about the economic impact of JAUNT on the City's <br />entire transit system, and suggested that the City may need to communicate with the federal <br />government officials about changing ADA requirements. <br /> <br /> Ms. Wilson stated that some consideration has been given to charging a different fare <br />for door-to-door versus curb service <br /> <br />AGENCIES AND SCHOOLS <br /> <br /> Council discussed the possibility of providing additional funding for: Camp Horizon, <br />schools (alternative education funds), Family Partners, historic landmark study. <br /> Councilors were asked to notify Ms. Linda Peacock, Budget Administrator, with their <br />preferences for increased or decreased funding. <br /> <br /> Mr. Vandever asked staff to provide information on entry levels of firefighters and <br />police officers and the status of the master firefighter and police. <br /> <br /> Rev.
