Edwards, Ms. Slaughter, Mr. <br />Toscano, Mr. Vandever, Ms. Waters. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Vandever, seconded by Ms. Waters, the <br />minutes of the June 25th meeting were approved as presented,. <br />with Ms. Slaughter and Mr. Toscano abstaining. <br /> <br /> On motion by Ms. Waters, seconded by Mr. Vandever, the <br />minutes of the July 2nd meeting were unanimously approved as <br />presented. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Ms. Bonnie Smith, representing the Charlottesville <br />Downtown Foundation invited the City to participate in a <br />forum regarding Route 29 North planned in conjunction with <br />the Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Smith explained that the <br />purpose of the forum would be to allow an opportunity for the <br />public to discuss the matter and to provide an opportunity <br />for consensus building. <br /> <br /> Ms. Slaughter recommended that the neighborhood <br />associations be invited to participate in the fOrum. <br /> <br /> Ms. Waters, a member of the Joint Transportation <br />Committee, stated that she felt the time remaining before the <br /> <br /> <br />
