Edwards, seconded by Mr. Vandever, the <br /> areas listed above.by.Ms..Mue!ler were unanimously referred <br /> to the Planning CommisSion for~their review and comment. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORT: WASTEiMANAGEMENT~TASKFORCE .... <br /> <br /> Mr Hendrix requested that Council. review and approve. <br /> the proposed charge and compositiOn of~the waste~management <br /> task force. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mueller described the proposed charge of the task <br /> force as follows: 1) review all available information, <br /> reports and alternatives; 2) evaluate short and long-term <br /> strategies; 3) review soil study; 4)~ develop hierarchy of <br /> alternatives for managing solid waste and develop cost <br /> figures; 5) encourage public input and education; 6) make <br /> recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and Council <br /> within a seven month time period. <br /> <br /> 'RespOnding t0 a question from Mr, Vandever,~MS. Mueller <br /> stated that it might be necessary for the task force to call <br /> in a Consultant which could cost approximately $5,0'00, an <br /> amount which could be absorbed in the existing budget. <br /> <br /> On motion by Rev.
