On motion by Ms. Richards, seconded by Mr. Caravati, Council voted (Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Ms. Daugherty, Ms. Richards, Mr. Toscano. Noes: None) to meet in executive session for the purpose of conducting interviews for the Charlottesville School Board, as authorized by Section 2.1-344(A)(1) of the Virginia Code and for the purpose -of consultation with legal counsel and briefings by staff members, consultants or attorneys on a matter pertainir~g to actual or probable litigation, or other specific legal matters reqffrring the provision of legal adviceby counsel, as authorized by Section 2.1- 344(A)(7) of the Virginia Code. Ayes: M_r. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Ms. Daugherty, Ms, Richards, Mr. Toscano. Noes: None. These terms will expire on June 30, 2002.
