14t <br /> <br /> Staff was also asked to provide information on experience others have had with a <br />rotation system. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> ChiefWolford announced National Night Out activities at Tonsler Park on Tuesday, <br />August 6th. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Mr. Toscano asked that Council authorize him to proceed with exploring a sister city <br />relationship with Menzosa, Argentina. Council expressed support of iVlr. Toscano's request. <br /> <br /> On motion by Ms. Richards, seconded by Mr. Toscano, Council unanimously voted, <br />with Ms. Daugherty absent, to meet in executive session for the purpose of discussing <br />appointments to boards and commissions, as authorized by Section 2.1-344(A)(1) of the <br />Virginia Code, and for the purpose of consukation with legal counsel and briefings by staff <br />members, consukants or attorneys, on two matters, pertaining to probable litigation, or other <br />specific legal matters requiring the provision of legal advice by counsel, as authorized by <br />Section 2.1-344(A)(7) of the Virginia Code. The substance of the matters to be discussed <br />can reasonably be identified as follows: changes in the form of local government structure, <br />and related alternatives.
