RINEHART. <br /> <br /> THE CiTY MANAGER ADVISED THE COUNCIL THAT HE HAD RECEIVED BIDS ON THE PROPOSED <br />SWIMMING POOL AT WASHINGTON PARK, AND ThE LOW BID WAS ~59~700.00 BY NATIONAL <br />CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF ALEXANDRIA. MR. BOWEN ESTIMATED THE TOTAL COST FOR THE <br />POOL, BATH HOUSE~ FENCING, WATER LINES, GRADING AND SEEDING AND WALKWAYS WOULD BE <br />APPROXIMATELY ~1~5~000.00 AND RECOMMENDED THAT AN APPROPRIATION BE MADE. ON MOTION <br />BY MR. MOUNT~ SECONDED BY MR. HAGGERTY, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED AND <br />CARRIED OVER TO THE NEXT MEETING FOR CONSIDERATION: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE <br /> <br /> THAT ~115,000.00 OR AS MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE NECESSARY, BE AND THE <br /> <br /> SAME IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOREGOING <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDATION. <br /> <br /> ON MOTION BY HR.
