49; <br />HOUSING, AND A PRELIMINARY LOAN CONTRACT WAS ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE <br />AUTHORITY AND THE PUBLIC HOUSING ADMINISTRATION FOR PRELIMINARY PLANNING <br />THEREOF AND <br />WHEREAS, BY REFERENDUM DULY HELD ON JUNE 14, 1960, THE ELECTORATE <br />OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, HAS APPROVED THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH PUBLIC <br />HOUSING AND HAS APPROVED ITS CONSTRUCTION ON A SITE GENERALLY LOCATED AT <br />RESOLUTION RE: <br />PUBLIC HOUSING THE INTERSECTION OF RIDGE STREET AND HARTMAN MILL ROAO~ <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF CHARLOTTESVILLE AS FOLLOWS: <br />THAT THE DEVELOPMENT BY THE AUTHORITY OF A lOW-RENT PUBLIC HOUSING <br />PROJECT CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 125 DWELING UNITS IN THE VICINITY OF THE <br />INTERSECTION OF RIDGE STREET AND HARTMAN MILL ROAD ON A SITE DESCRIBED AS <br />BOUNDED BY THE REO LINES ON ATTACHED PAGE OF THE CITY LAND MAP IS HEREBY <br />AUTHORIZED AND APPROVED. <br />THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS SECONDED BY MR.
