<br /> Mr. Hendrix stat. ed that the appropriation of $58,000 would allow
<br />the City to purchase land located at 9.20 West Main Street;:to be held
<br />by the City for future purchase by the State Highway Department for
<br />eventual realignment of 9th and 10th Streets.

<br /> Dr. Hall moved the appropriation for $58,000 for land purchase,
<br />
<br />Mr. Conover seconded the motion, and it was carried over to the next
<br />meeting.

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, that
<br />the. sum of $58,.000.00 is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
<br />balance of the General Fund to expenditure account 01-91140 for
<br />transfer to' the Capital Improvements Fund and further, appropriated to
<br />expenditure account 05-31000 for the purchase of property at 920 West
<br />Main Street, Charlottesville.

<br />grants fund to expenditure account 11-13070 for use by the Charlottesville-

<br />control projects for the period Julz 1, 1983 through June 30 1984
