502 Department contribution. On motion by Dr.. Gunter, seconded by Dr. Hall, the appropriations were offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. Mrs. Gleason requested that Council take action on the Steering Committee for the Drunk Driving Task Force at the next meeting. Dr. Hall stated that he had received complaints concerning Tonsler Park and asked that staff study the feasibility of increasing the-staffing and supervision at the park. Mr. Hendrix stated that staff is only in the park during the summer and that his office is presently investigating closing the parking lot and looking into other alternatives to solve the problem. On motion by Dr. Gunter, seconded by Dr. Hall, Council unani- mously voted to meet in executive session to discuss disposition of public property as exempted by Section 2.1-344(a)(2) of the Virginia Free~ of Information Act. meeting was adjourned. Absent: Mr. Barnes.
