Gunter, seconded by Dr. Hall, the appropriations <br />were offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Gleason requested that Council take action on the Steering <br />Committee for the Drunk Driving Task Force at the next meeting. <br /> <br /> Dr. Hall stated that he had received complaints concerning <br />Tonsler Park and asked that staff study the feasibility of increasing <br />the-staffing and supervision at the park. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix stated that staff is only in the park during the <br />summer and that his office is presently investigating closing the <br />parking lot and looking into other alternatives to solve the problem. <br /> <br /> On motion by Dr. Gunter, seconded by Dr. Hall, Council unani- <br />mously voted to meet in executive session to discuss disposition of <br />public property as exempted by Section 2.1-344(a)(2) of the Virginia <br /> <br />Free~ of Information Act. <br />meeting was adjourned. <br />President <br /> <br />NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON'Wednesday, April 10, <br />198S AT 12:00 noon IN THE Basement Conference' RoOm. <br /> <br />THE PROPOSED AGENDA IS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Lunch meeting with School Board <br /> <br />BY ORDER OF THE MAYOR BY Jeanne Cox (signed) <br /> <br /> BASEMENT CONFERENCE ROOM April 10, 198S <br /> <br /> Council met in special session on this date for a lunch meeting <br />with the Sch~ol Board with the following members present: Mr Buck <br />Mr~~ Gleason, Dr. Gunter, Dr. Hall.
