Resolution re: Authorizing
<br />the Mayor to sign agreement
<br />~the~Sh~nandoa~ Valley
<br />Detention Home~
<br />
<br /> On motion by Mrs~ 0'Brien, seconded by Mr. Albro the following
<br />resolution was unanimously adopted.
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville,
<br />that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City
<br />the following document, in form approved by the City Attorney:
<br />
<br />An amendedagreement for operation of the Shenandoah Valley
<br />Juvenile Detention Home, permitting Rockbridge County to
<br />participate therein.
<br />
<br />Resolution re:
<br />the Mayor to sign easement
<br />for Belmont Sewer &
<br />Drainage Project
<br />
<br /> A copy of such document shall be kept on file with the
<br /> minutes of the Council meeting at which this resolution was adopted.
<br />
<br />Authorizing On motion by Mrs. O'Brien, seconded by Mr. Albro the following
<br /> resolution was unanimously adopted.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, this Council has previously approved and appropriated
<br />funds to certain improvement projects in the Belmont neighborhood,
<br />including the installation of a storm water drainage system between
<br />Bolling Avenue and Stonehenge Avenue, and the replacement of a
<br />sanitary sewer line between Bolling Avenue and Quarry Road; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, in certain instances following the installation
<br />of such lines the city will release and abandon its rights in certain
<br />existing sewer and drainage lines; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, in those instances it is deemed advisable for the
<br />city to execute the deeds of easement for the properties affected
<br />by these projects as evidence of such release and abandonmenn; now,
<br />therefore, be it

<br />Resolution re: Approving
<br />the T.J.P.D.C. 1979-80
<br />Criminal Justice Plan
<br />
<br /> RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charottesville, that
<br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute deeds of easement releasing
<br />such prior interests in connection with the aforesaid projects, in
<br />form approved by the City Attorney, to which the Clerk of the Council
<br />shall affix and attest the corporate seal of the City.
<br />
<br />On motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Mr. Gatewood it was
<br />
<br />unanimo~usly RESOLVED that the Criminal Justice Plan for the Thomas
<br />
<br />Jefferson Planning District X for 1979-80, be and the same is hereby
<br />approved.
