Advisory <br />Board <br /> <br /> COUNCIL CHAMBER - TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 1980 <br /> <br /> The Council met in regular session on this date with the following <br /> members present: Mr. Albro, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Buck, Mr. Gatewood, <br /> Mrs. O'Brien. Absent: None. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the meeting of February 4, 1980 were approved <br /> <br /> as presented. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Linda Seaman, representing the League of Women Voters, <br /> addressed the Council and urged the Council to study energy saving <br /> measures in public buildings and facilities of Charlottesville. <br /> <br /> The Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority recommended <br /> to the City Council that the amendments to the Revitalization Area <br /> be approved. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. O'Brien, seconded by Mr. Buck, the recommenda- <br /> tion of the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority was <br /> unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Gatewood, Mr. James Herndon was appointed to <br /> <br /> the Architectural Review Board by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Albro, Mrs. Geraldine Watkins was appointed <br /> <br />to the Architectural Review Board by the following recorded vote. <br />Ayes~: Mr. Albro, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Gatewood. Noes: Mr. Buck, Mrs. <br />O' Brien. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Buck, Mr. R. Stedman Oakey, Jr. was appointed <br /> <br /> to the Architectural Review Board by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. O'Brien, Mrs. Ruth Wadlington was nominated <br /> <br />for the Architectural Review Board and was defeated by the following <br />recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Buck, Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: Mr. Albro, Mr. <br />Brunton, Mr. Gatewood. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Buck, Mr. Thomas McLernon and Mr. Booker Reaves <br />were appointed to the R.S.V.P. Advisory Board by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> <br />
