.340 Executive session FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of this Council be directed to send certified copies of this resolution to the Chairman of~ the HouseApproPriations and Senate Finance Committees of the G~neral Assembly, to Charlo-tesville's representatives in the~General Assembly, to the Governor of Virginia and' to the president and board of visitors of Piedmont Virginia Community COllege. On motion by Mr~ Albro, seconded by Ms. Gleason, Council unanimously agreed to meet in executive Session to discuss matters exempted by SeCtion 2.1-344(a) (1) (Personnel), ~6) (Legal) and. Gleason-property Appropriation $700 radioactive waste consultant Ordinance re precious metals BY ORDER OF Kathleen Roletter (signed) Francis L, Buck (signed) Special session Resolution re: Authorizing mayor to execute plat & deed for McGuffey property BASEMENT CONFERENCE ROOM - MONDAY, OCTOBER 13, 1980 Council met in special session oh this date with the following members present: Mr. ~Albro, Mr. Buck, Mr. Conover, Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Hall. Michael D. Letcher was acting Clerk of Council. 6ity Council passed a resolution authorizing the mayor to sign a revised subdivision plat and deed fOr the MCGuffey School property. The revised deed will transfer oWnership of the access.road on the property to McGuffey Hill, Ltd., and reserve ingress and egress access easement rights for use of the road by the City. The mayor R&scussed arrangements for the artists' Shed on the McGuffey School property that will either involve attaching a replace- ment shed to the McGuffeybuilding or constructing a free-standing structure on the property. Mr. Albro requested that Council write a correspondence to Mr. Frank Folsom Smith requesting a review of the Phase II plans for the McGuffey Hill property prior to construction. On motion by Mr, Albro, seconded by Ms. Gleason, Council unanimOusly approved, the following resolution: BE 'IT-RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City the following document, in form approved by the City Attorney: A subdivision plat as prepared by Thomas B. Lincoln, CLS, and revised October 6, 1980, showing a division into Parcels 1 thru 4 of the McGuffey School property (Tax Map Parcels 33-174 and 33-174.1) and a revised deed, conveying Parcels 1 and 2 thereon to. McGuffey Hill, Ltd. A copy of such document shall be kept on file with the minutes of the Council meeting at which this resolution was adopted.
