On motion <br />by Ms. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Hall, the minutes of December 17 <br />were unanimously approved as presented, Mr. Albro abstaining. On <br />motion by Ms. Gleason, seconded by Mr. Conover, the minutes of <br />December 18 were unanimously approved as presented, Mr. Albro and <br />Dr. Hall abstaining, On motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Mr. <br />Conover, the minutes of December 29 were unanimously approved as <br />presented. <br /> <br /> Dr. Richard F. Edlich, director of the Thomas Jefferson <br /> <br />Emergency Medical Council, called Council's attention to the <br />Emergency First Aid Guide printed in the new telephone book. <br />This public education item is the work of the Council and Dr. <br />Edlich wished the public to be aware of the information and how <br />readily available it is to anyone in an emergency. He also outlined <br />other accomplishments of the Council: the training of approximately <br />300 rescue squad technicians in Planning District 10, which is now <br />a state certified program, and the planning of a continuing education <br />program, updated treatment protocols for drugs and IV's and an <br /> <br /> <br />
