Ordinance re: Air <br />rights over Park Place <br /> <br />Consideration re: <br />Rezoning on Maple <br />Street - Defeated <br /> <br />Consideration re: <br />Rezoning on 1303 <br />King Street <br /> <br />Ordinance re: <br />Rezoning 14th and <br />Sadler through <br />to 13th Street <br /> <br />Ordinance re: Rezoning <br />llQ1 Little High Street <br /> <br /> seconded by Mr. Fife to reconsider the previous question was <br /> defeated by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Fife and Mr. <br /> Gilliam. Noes: Mr. Barbour, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. <br /> <br /> An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CONVEYANCE OF A PERPETUAL EASEMENT FOR THE AIR RIGHTS TO THE <br /> UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA OVER A PORTION OF PARK PLACE," which was <br /> offered at the meeting ~f the Council on September 2, 1975, <br /> was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, <br /> Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, and Mr. Van~.¥ahres. Noes: Mrs. Rinehart <br /> <br /> A communicatiOn was presenned from the Planning Commission <br /> recommending that the request for rezonine 701, 705 and <br /> <br /> 707 Maple Street from R-3 to B-Office/shop be granted. After <br /> discussion, a motion by Mr. Gilliam, seconded by Mr. Fife that <br /> the request be denied since the rezoning would remove seven <br /> dwelling units in the downtown area, was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> A communication was presented from the Planning Commission <br /> recommending that the request for rezoning at 1303 King Street, <br /> be denied ~nceit .~auld not be in conformance withi~the 1990 <br /> <br /> Land Use Plan and would be spot zoning. On motion by Mr. Gilliam, <br /> seconded by Mr. Fife the Planning Commission!~s recommendation <br /> was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> A communication was presented from the Planning Commission <br />recommending that the petition to rezone from R-2 to R-3 <br />property located at 14th and Sadler Street through to 13th Street, <br />be granted. An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND <br />REENACTING THE DISTRICT MAP IN SECTION 4 OF ARTICLE III APPENDIX <br />II OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1965, BY THE <br />REZONING OF TWO PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED ON 14TH STREET, N.W. <br />AND A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ON 13TH STREET, N.W. IN THE CITY <br /> <br />OF CHARLOTTESVILLE," was offered by Mr. Gilliam, seconded by Mrs. <br />Rinehart and adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: <br />Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam,! Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. <br /> <br />Van Yahres. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> A communication was presented from the Planning Commission <br />recommending that the request to rezone from R-3 to B-Office/shop <br />property located 1101 Little High Street, be granted. An <br />ordinance entitled "AN ORDIANANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING THE <br />DISTRICT MAP INCORPORATED IN SECTION 4 OF ARTICLE III OF <br />APPENDIX II OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1965, <br />BY THE REZONING OF A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ON LITTLE HIGH <br />STREET IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE," was offered by <br /> <br />Mr. Gilliam, seconded by Mr. Van Yahres and adopted by the <br />following recorded vote.
