Appropriation re: $9,750 Area 10 Alcohol Safety Action Project Feasibility Study Authorize Mayor to sign an agreement in the Branchlands Case Resolution re: Viewers for vacation of Duke Street Consideration re: ordinance Permit Parking meeting of the Council on September 15, 1975, was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rineharn and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None. The resolution appropriating $9,750 from Grant Funds for Area 10 Alcohol Safety Action Project Feasibility Study, which was Offered at the meeting of the Council on September 15, 1975, was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None. On motion by Mr. Gilliam, seconded by Mr. Fife the Mayor was authorized to sign a settlement agreement in the Branchlands Water and Sewer Case. On motion by Mrs. Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Fife the following resolution was unanimsouly adopted. A RESOLUTION appointing viewers to consider a request for the vacation of unopened Duke Street. WHEREAS, this Council has received a petition requesting vacation of unopened Duke Street; and WHEREAS, it appears to Council that the notices required by ~15.1-364 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, have been duly posted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlontesville that James P. Borden, Mason S. Byrd and Lee Greaver be and the same are hereby appointed as viewers to view such unopened street and report in writing to Council what inconvenience, if any, would result from the vacation thereof. An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REENACT TO AMEND SECTION 18793.1 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1965, RELATING TO THE PERMIT PARKING ZONES," was offered with amendments by Mrs. Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Fife and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. On motion the meeting adjourned. President BASEMENT CONFERENCE ROOM - MONDAY, OCTOBER 13, 1975 Special meeting Resolution re: Federal Executive Institute The Council met in special session on this date with the following members present: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Absent: None. A motion by Mr. Fife, seconded by Mrs. Rinehart that unanimous consent be given to the consideration of the following resolution, was unanimously adopted. On motion by Mr. Fife, seconded by Mrs. Rinehart the following resolution was unanimously adopted.
