<br />City and School
<br />Budgets for
<br />Fiscal year
<br />1976-77
<br />
<br />On motion by Mrs. Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Gilliam
<br />
<br />the following resolution was adopted by the following
<br />recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam,
<br />
<br />Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has, pursuant Of §15
<br />of the City Charter caused to be prepared and presented to
<br />City Council a proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning
<br />July 1, 1976 and ending June 30, 1977; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, a synopsis of such proposed budget
<br />has been published in the Daily Progress and, a public
<br />hearing heid thereon on April 7, 1976, and the sums
<br />therein debated and adjusted by City Council in open
<br />meeting, as provided by law;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council
<br />of the City of Charlottesville that the following
<br />synopsis of estimated income and expenditures for the
<br />General Fund, Capital Improvement Fund and Utility
<br />Funds is hereby adopted as the budget Of the City of
<br />Charlottesville for the aforesaid fiscal year.
