Ayes: Mr. Barbour, <br /> Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> The resolution appropriating $84,230 for Family Group Homes, <br /> which was offered at the meeting of the Council on October 4, <br /> 1976, was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. <br /> Barbour, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. <br /> Noes: None. <br /> <br /> The resolution appropriating $3,000 for'the Boxing Program, <br /> which was offered at the of the Council on October 4, 1976, <br /> was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, <br /> Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, .M~. Gatewood and-Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> The reselution appropriating $36,000 from the General Fund <br /> for paving the Charlottesville High School Parking Lot, which <br /> was offered at the meeting of the Council on October 4, 1976, was <br /> amended to read $34,000 from School Funds and $2,000 from the <br /> General Fund and adopted by the following recorded vo~e. Ayes: <br /> Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunnon, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. <br /> Noes: None. Mr. Fife~stated that he felt that in the future <br /> surplus funds from the School Budget should be returned to the <br /> General Fund, but that this year the School Board should keep <br /> these funds since they have indicated that they will be used for <br /> paving of the parking lot. <br /> <br /> A report was presented on the operation of the Summer Bus <br /> Route to Pen Park showing a net deficit of $2,996.02 for the <br /> summer operation and requested an appropriation fo= this amount. <br /> On motion by Mr. Barbour, seconded by Mr. Gatewood the following <br /> resolution was offered and carried over to the next meeting for <br /> consideration. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville that $3,000 be and the same is hereby appropriated <br />from the General Fund for the operating deficit of the Pen <br />Park Bus Route. <br /> <br /> A communication was presented from the Constitution Highway <br />Association requesting an appropriation of ~200 to assist <br />in printing brochures to promote tourism along Route 20. On motion <br />by Mr. Fife, seconded by Mr. Brunton, the following resolution <br />was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, <br />Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife~and Mr. Gatewood. Noes: Mrs. O'Brien. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville that $200 be and the~same is hereby appropriated <br />from the General Fund for ConSkitution Highway Assocation. <br /> <br /> <br />
