by City Council on November 17, 1975, be amended by deleting <br />the second introductory paragraph thereof and by deleting <br />words "blighted, deteriorated or deteriorating and" in the <br />first paragraph of the main body of said resolution. Such <br />amendment was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: <br /> <br />Mr. Barbour, Mr. B~runton, Mr. Fife, Mr.Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien <br />Noes: None. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Barbour, seconded by Mr. Brunuon the <br />Resolution re: Raffle <br />Permit - Thomas Jefferson following resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />Memorial Unitarian <br />Church WHEREAS, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian <br /> Church has duly applied for a permit to conduct raffles in <br /> compliance with §17-19 of the Code of the City of <br /> Charlottesville, 1976, as amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Thomas Jefferson <br />Memorial Unitarian Church meets the qualifications as outlined <br />in §17-19; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Charlottesville that a permit be granted to the <br />Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church to conduct raffles in <br />accordance with all the provisions of ~I7-19 of the Code of the <br />City of Charlottesville for a period ox one year from the date <br />of this resolution; and <br /> <br />Ordinance re: <br />Hearings on <br />Real Estate <br />Assessments <br /> <br />Ordinance re: <br />Creating Risk <br />Management Fu~d & <br />Establishing Claim <br />Procedures <br /> <br />Ordinance re: <br />Rezoning from ~-1 <br />to B-3 A 14,000 <br />square foot lot on <br />Hillcrest Road <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council be <br /> direcued to send a copy of this resolution to President, Alliance <br /> Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church. <br /> <br /> An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN ~ <br /> SECTION 10-17 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976 <br /> RELATING TO HEARINGS ON REAL ESTATE TAX ASSESSMENTS," which <br /> was offered at the meeting of the Council on October 4, 1976, <br /> was adopted by the following recorded voue. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, <br /> <br /> Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None. <br /> ~'An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF <br /> <br /> THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976 BY ADDING IN CHAPTER 2 THEREOF <br /> AN ARTICLE XVII 'CONTAINING SECTION 2-114 THROUGH 2-120 CREATING <br /> A RISK MANAGEMENT FU~D AND ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES FOR THE <br /> COMPROMISE AND PAYMENT OF CLAIMS~~'' which was offered by the meeting <br /> of the Council on October 4, 1976, was adopted by the following <br /> recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. <br /> Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None <br /> <br /> A communication was presented from the Planning Commission <br />recommending that the rezoning of 14,000 square feet of land fronting <br />on Hillcrest Road be approved. The communication stated that by this <br />rezoning a drafting error made on the Zoning Map effective <br />January 1, 1976, would be corrected. An ordinance entitled "AN <br />ORDINANCE AME'NDING AND'REENACTING THE DISTRICT MAP INCORPORATED IN <br />SECTION 31-4 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />CHARL.OTTESVILLE, 1976, BY THE REZONING OF TWO PARCELS OF LAND <br />FRONTING ON HILLCREST ROAD IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE,'! was <br />offered by ~. Bruntion, seconded by Mr. Fife and adopted by <br />the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunton, <br />Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> <br />
