by City Council on November 17, 1975, be amended by deleting the second introductory paragraph thereof and by deleting words "blighted, deteriorated or deteriorating and" in the first paragraph of the main body of said resolution. Such amendment was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. B~runton, Mr. Fife, Mr.Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien Noes: None. On motion by Mr. Barbour, seconded by Mr. Brunuon the Resolution re: Raffle Permit - Thomas Jefferson following resolution was unanimously adopted. Memorial Unitarian Church WHEREAS, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church has duly applied for a permit to conduct raffles in compliance with §17-19 of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, 1976, as amended; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church meets the qualifications as outlined in §17-19; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that a permit be granted to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church to conduct raffles in accordance with all the provisions of ~I7-19 of the Code of the City of Charlottesville for a period ox one year from the date of this resolution; and Ordinance re: Hearings on Real Estate Assessments Ordinance re: Creating Risk Management Fu~d & Establishing Claim Procedures Ordinance re: Rezoning from ~-1 to B-3 A 14,000 square foot lot on Hillcrest Road BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council be direcued to send a copy of this resolution to President, Alliance Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church. An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN ~ SECTION 10-17 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976 RELATING TO HEARINGS ON REAL ESTATE TAX ASSESSMENTS," which was offered at the meeting of the Council on October 4, 1976, was adopted by the following recorded voue. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None A communication was presented from the Planning Commission recommending that the rezoning of 14,000 square feet of land fronting on Hillcrest Road be approved. The communication stated that by this rezoning a drafting error made on the Zoning Map effective January 1, 1976, would be corrected.
