City Attorney re:
Columbia Gas
Cut Back

The CitY"A~Mney explained that the City had been
advised by Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation that due
to critically short gas supplies and abnormally cold
weather all available gas was needed to protect essential
needs of customers on the Columbia system designated as
priority one under Columbia's gas curtailment plan as
approved by the Federal Power Commission. As a result
Columbia has notified the City of the need to discontinue
service to all customers other than those designated as
priority one.
