290' <br /> <br />Ordinance re: <br />authorizing Mayor <br />to sign a lease <br />on property <br />at 838-839 <br />Ridge Street <br /> <br /> RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br /> that there is hereby granted a special permit to use for warehouse <br /> uses the following described property: <br /> Ail those parcels of land lying north of Allied <br /> Street and designated on City Real Property Tax <br /> Map Sheet No. 45 as Parcels 17, 17.4 and 17.5; <br /> and all those parcels of land lying both north <br /> and south of Allied Street designated on City Real <br /> Property Tax Map Sheet No. 34 as Parcels 90, <br /> 90.2, 90.3, 90.4, 90.5, 90.7, 90.9, 90.10, 90.11 <br /> and 90.12, SAVE AND EXCEPT those portions of <br /> Parcels 90.9 and 90.10 shown on a subdivision <br /> plat by Amos R. Sweet, C. S., signed by the <br /> City Planning Commission on March 12, 1963, and <br /> recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit <br /> coUrt of the City of Charlottesville in Deed <br /> Book page and identified on such plat <br /> as Lots ~, 7, 9, 9~, 15A and 15B, and thei~ <br /> immediately adjacent parking areas. <br /> Notwithstanding any provision of §31-225 to the <br /> contrary, the permit hereby granted shall be deemed to remain <br /> in full force and effect unless and until the zoning <br /> classification of said property may hereafter lawfully be <br /> changed. Such permit shall conferupon the owner of the <br /> aforesaid property, their successors, and assigns the right <br /> to use the same for such warehouses as may be presently located <br /> thereon, for any reconstruction of any existing warehouse <br /> area demolished or destroyed, dr for the expansion or addition <br /> of warehouse uses into other portions of such property. <br /> provided, however, that any such reconstruction, expansion or <br /> addition shall be subject to any yard or area regulations and <br /> any site plan requirements otherwise applicable under the <br /> then current provisions of the city zoning ordinance. <br /> An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br /> TO SIGN A LEASE FOR A TERM OF FORTY YEARS OF CITY PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 838-839 RIDGE STREET," which was offered at the <br /> meeting of the Council on October 3, 1977, was adopted by the <br /> following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunton, <br /> Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None. <br />Ordinance re: An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND <br />Amending an <br />ordinance regarding REORDAIN SECTION 16~43.1(b) OF TRB CODE. OF THB G%T~ OF <br />illegally parked ~ ~ H, , <br />vechiles CHA~OTTMSVILL 1976, AS AMENDED ESTABLISHING THE AUTHORITY <br /> OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO OBTAIN TOWNING AND STORAGE SERVICES <br /> FOR ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES," which was offered at the <br /> meeting of the Council on October 3, 1977, was adopted by <br /> the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunton, <br /> Mr. Fife, Mr.-Gatewood and Mrs'. O'Brien. Noes: None. <br /> Consideration re: A communication was also presented from the Planning <br /> Ordinance - <br /> rezoning property Commission recommending that the drafting error made on the <br /> on Monticello <br /> Road & Hinton zoning may which became effective January 1, 1976 be <br /> Avenue at Meridian <br /> Street corrected which would change the zoning on properties fronting <br /> on Monticello Road and Meridian Street. An ordinance entitled <br /> "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING THE DISTRICT MAP <br /> INCORPORATED IN SECTION 31-4 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br /> CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, BY THE REZONING <br /> OF~S~VERAL PARCELS OF LAND FRONTING ON MONTICELLO ROAD - <br /> HINTON AVENUE AND ONE PARCEL FRONTING ON MERIDIAN STREET IN <br /> THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE," was offered by Mr. Fife, <br /> seconded by Mr. Gatewood and carried o~er to the next meeting <br /> <br />for consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />
