Appropriation re: <br />$1,300 Community <br />Revelopment <br /> <br /> The resolution appropriating $1,300 for Department of <br />Community Development, which was offered at themeeting of the <br /> <br />Council on February 21, 1978, was adopted by the following <br />recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. <br /> <br />Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None. <br /> <br />AuthorizingMayor <br />to sign deed for <br />right-of-way <br />at Ivy Landfill <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Brunton, seconded by Mr. Fife the Mayor <br />was authorized to execute a deed for road right-of-way at the <br />Ivy Landfill. <br /> <br />Resolution re: <br />Transferring <br />$400,000 from <br />General Fund <br />to Capital fund <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Gatewood, aeconded by Mr. Fife the following <br />resolution was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottes- <br />ville that the sum of $400,000 is hereby transferred from the <br />unappropriated balance of the General Fund to the unappropriated <br />balance of the Capital Projects Fund. <br /> <br />The Mayor stated that-she would like the Council to consider <br /> <br />setting aside a certain amount in the Capital Fund each year to <br /> <br />pave dedicated but unaccepted streets. <br /> <br />Authorizing Mayor <br />to sign a deed with <br />RW&SA for a <br />sewer line ease- <br />ment <br /> <br />Ordinance re: <br />Rezoning property <br />at 517 & 521 <br />Locust Avenue <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Fife, seconded by Mr. Gatewood the Mayor <br />was authorized to sign a deed granting a sewer line easement <br />across the Meadow Creek Wastewater Treatment Plan property. <br /> <br /> An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING <br />THE DISTRICT MAP INCORPORATED IN SECTION 31-4 OF THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976 <br /> <br />BY THE REZONING OF TWO PARCELS OF LAND FRONTING ON LOCUST AVENUE <br /> <br />IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE," which was offered an the meeting <br />of the Council on February 21, 1978, was adopted by the following <br />recorded vote. TT STREET <br />streets and an <br /> <br />alley in the <br />Garrett Street <br />Redevelopment <br />Area <br /> <br />PROJECT AREA IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE," was offered by <br />Mr. Brunton, seconded by Mr. Fife and carried over to the next <br />meeting for consideration. <br /> <br />Consideration re: <br />Relating to <br />minimum housing <br />standards <br /> <br /> An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMENDAND REORDAIN <br />SECTION 13-26 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, <br />AS AMENDED, TO ALLOW MINIMIIM HABITABLE STANDARDS TO APPLY TO <br /> <br />CELLARS AND TO REPEAL SECTION 13-25 THEREOF WHICH PROHIBITS THE <br /> <br />USE OF CELLARS FOR LIVING PURPOSES," was offered by Mr. Gatewood, <br /> <br />seconded by Mr. Barbour and carried over to the next meeting <br />for consideration. <br /> <br />Executive Session <br /> <br />A motion by Mr. Brunton, seconded by Mr. Gatewood that Council <br /> <br />meet in executive session to discuss a matter exempted by Section <br />2.1-344(a)(1), Section 2.1-344(a)(2) and Section 2.1-344(a)(6) of <br /> <br />the Virginia Freedom of Informanion Act, was adopted by the following <br />recorded vote.
