47'4 Executive Session A motion by Mrs. O'Brien, seconded by Mr. Gatewood that Council meet in executive session to discuss a matter exempted by Section 2.1-344(a)(1) of the Virginia Freedom of Information Ach, was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Albro, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Buck, Mr. Ganewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None. On motion the meeting adjourned. Zehler, Jr. The Council met in special session on this date with the following members present: Mr. Albro, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Buck, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Absent: None. A motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Mr. Buck that unanimous consent be given to the consideration of any matters which may come before this meeting, was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Albro, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Buck, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O'Brien. Noes: None. On motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Mr. Buck the following resolution was unanimously adopted. WHEREAS, Ralph P. Zehler, Jr. is a candidate for selection as a circuit court judge to fill a vacancy which will shortly be occurring in the 16th Judicial Circuit; and WHEREAS, Judge Zehler has served with distinction since 1969 as the judge of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts of the 16th Judicial District; and WHEREAS, Judge Zehler has in that capacity received statewide and, indeed, national recognition as a learned authority on juvenile courts and a judge of exceptional ability and dedication; and
