PAT TATUM ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL AND PRESENTED A PETIT ON FROM THE JAYCEES REQUESTING <br />THAT THE REGISTRAR APPOINT ONE OR MORE C~TY EMPLOYEES IN CITY HALL AS ASSISTANT REGISTRARS <br />AND THE COUNCIL TO DESIGNATE THE EMPLOYEES, THE C~TY MANAGER REMINDED THE COUNCIL THAT THE <br />REGISTRAR IS APPOINTED BY THE ELECTORAL BOARD, AND ANY ASSISTANTS WOULD HAVE TO BE NAMED BY <br />THE BOARD.
