WALLS <br /> <br />]MPROVEHENTS AT AIRPORT <br />REVISED FIGURE <br /> <br />HATTER RE: FEDERAL GRANT- <br />TWO-WAY RADIOS - POLICE <br />DEPT. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE SEPTEMBER 15TH STATEMENT HERETOFORE <br /> <br /> ISSUED BY COUNCIL AND PROHIBITING THE PLACING OF ANY PiCTURES~ SYMBOLS~ <br /> PORTRAITS~ POSTERS OR SIMILAR ITEHS ON THE WALLS OF RECREATION DEPARTMENT <br /> PROPERTY IS HEREBY REAFFIRMED~ AND <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE FOREGOING POLICY PROHIBITION <br /> <br />DOES APPLY TO REMOVABLE POSTERS AND PICTURES AS WELL AS TO THE ACTUAL <br /> <br />PAINTING OF Or ON DEPARTMENT WALLS. <br /> <br /> THE MAYOR ADVISED THE COUNCIL THAT THE FIGURE OF $136~000.00 FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT <br />THE AIRPORT AS APPROVED AT THE MEETING ON OCTOBER 6, 1969 IS INCORRECT. HE STATED <br />THAT THE LOCAL SHARE Of THE COST OF THE NORTH APRON EXPANSION WITH CONCRETE PAD~ AND <br />THE TIE DOWN AREA WOULD BE ~154~ 000.00. HE ALSO STATED THAT NO APPROPRIATION WOULD <br />BE NECESSARY SINCE THE MONEY IS ALREADY AVAILABLE IN THE AIRPORT FUND. ON MOTION BY <br />HR. DAVIS~ SECONDED BY HR. RINEHART, THE IMPROVEMENTS AT THE AIRPORT WERE APPROVED AT <br />THE REVISED FIGURE~ BY THE FOLLOWING ~OTE: AYES: HR. DAVIS~ MR. RINEHART~ HR. VOGT AND <br />HR. WRIGHT. NOES: HR. VAN YAHRES. <br /> <br /> MR. R. C. BROWN~ JR. PRESENTED AN APPLICATION FOR A FEDERAL GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />¢~3~660.O0 FOR ADDITIONAL TWO WAY RADIOS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTHENT. MR.
