ON MOTION BY MR. VAN YAHRES~ SECONDED BY MRS. RINEHART~ A PUBLIC <br />HEARING WAS SET FOR APRIL 30~ 1973 AT 7:30 P. Mo TO CONSIDER THIS REQUEST. <br /> AN ORDINANCE WAS PRESENTED WHICH WOULD ALLOW PVC PIPE FOR DRAINAGE AND VENT SYSTEMS <br /> WITHIN BUILDINGS. THE CITY MANAGER REQUESTED THAT ACTION BE DEFERRED TO GIVE HIM AN OPPORTUNIT' <br /> TO DETERMINE IF OTHER CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE IN THE PLUMBING CODE IN ORDER TO GET THE WORK- <br /> ABLE PROGRAM RECERTIFIED. MR. CHUCK ROTG1N, ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL AND URGED ACTION AS SOON <br /> AS POSSIBLE SO AS NOT TO DELAY CONSTRUCTION ALREADY UNDERWAY. <br /> AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REENACT SECTION 22.1-74 OF THE CODE <br /> OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, t965, RELATING TO MATERIAL FOR ABOVEGROUND PIPING IN <br /> BUILDINGS", WAS OFFERED BY MRS. BENTON PATTERSON, <br /> ~/. B. TOWNSEND AND So F. STONEBURNER REQUESTING A RE-HEARING ON A REQUEST FOR REZONING A <br /> PARCEL OF PROPERTY ON lOTH STREET, N. ED A COMMUNICATION WAS PRESENTED FROM THE PLANNING <br /> DEPARTMENT OUTLINING WHAT HAS OCCURRED RELATIVE TO THIS REZONING REQUEST TO DATE. MR. BOYLE <br /> ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL IN SUPPORT OF THE REQUEST AND CONFIRMED THE STATEMENT FROM THE <br /> PLANNING DEPARTMENT. ON MOTION BY MR. GILLIAM, SECONDED BY ~RS.
