Minutes of February 2 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />b. : $3,000 - Reimbursement of Cleanup Costs from 2003 <br />nd <br /> Dogwood Festival (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> $3,000 has been received by the City of Charlott esville as payment <br />for damage done to McIntire Park grounds during the Dogwood Festival in 2003; now, <br />therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that a <br />total of $3,000 is hereby appropriated to expenditure account 26 - 173 - 073018 - 53199. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : $50,984 - Domestic Violence Coordinator Grant <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Department of Criminal Justice Services has awarded the <br />Domestic Violence Community Services Coordinator Grant to the City of Charlottesville <br />in the amount of $50,984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, as the required match for the grant, the City Commonwealth’s <br />Attorney Office will contribute $12,746 in in - kind attorney services from its existing <br />budget; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that a <br />total of $50,984 is hereby appropriated to expenditure account 11 - 173 - 073738 - 50111 in <br />the Grants Fund for the purpose of funding the Domestic Violence Community Service <br />Coordinator position for the calendar year ending December 31, 2004. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />d. : $99,100 - Domestic Preparedness Equipment Grant <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the Virginia Department of Emergency Management has awarded a <br />grant in the amount of $99,100 to the City of Charlottesville; now, therefore <br /> <br />B E IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that <br />the sum of $99,100.00, received as a grant from the Virginia Department of Emergency <br />Management, is hereby appropriated to account 11 - 270 - 041186 - 50111 in the Grants <br />Fund. <br /> <br />AP PROPRIATION <br />e. : $125,000 - Rivanna Greenbelt Trail Renovation Grant <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation awarded a <br />grant to the City of Charlottesville in the amount of $100,000, requiring a local cash <br />match of $25 ,000 for a total of $125,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, as the required match for the grant, the Capital Budget (26 - 173 - <br />073108 - 53199) will contribute $25,000; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that a <br />total of $100 ,000 is hereby appropriated to expenditure account 11 - 173 - 073738 - 50111 in <br />the Grants Fund, and $25,000 is hereby transferred from account 26 - 173 - 073108 - 53199 <br />and appropriated to 11 - 173 - 073738 - 50111 in the Grants Fund, for renovation work on the <br />Rivanna Gre enbelt Trail. <br />
