MOUNT, THE CITY ATTORNEY WAS REQUESTED <br />TO PREPARE THE ORDINANCES AS RECOMMENDED IN THE FOREGOING REPORT. <br /> <br /> THE CITY MANAGER PRESENTED PRELIMINARY PLANS FOR A PROPOSED RAMP FROM THE ~50 <br /> <br />BY PASS TO DAIRY ROAD~ WHICH WOULD ELIMINATE LEFT TURNS FROM THE BY PASS INTO MEADOW- <br />BROOK HEIGHTS ROAD, AND A PROPOSED RIGHT TURN LANE AT MEADOWBROOK HEIGHTS ROAD, AND <br />ESTIMATED THAT THE COST OF THE PROJECT WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY ~10,000.00 EXCLUSIVE OF <br />OF LAND ACQUISITION. ON MOTION BY MR. SCRIBNER, SECONDED BY MR. PONTON~ THE CITY <br />MANAGER WAS AUTHORIZED TO PRESENT THIS PROJECT TO THE STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT FOR <br />THEIR APPROVAL. <br /> <br /> THE CITY MANAGER ADVISED THE COUNCIL THAT MR. BERNARD H. SOUTHALL~ A CITY POLICE <br />OFFICER, HAS BEEN ADVISED BY HIS DOCTOR THAT HE CAN NO LONGER PERFORM HIS DUTIES ON <br />A FULL TIME BASIS. ~R. BOWEN RECOMMENDED THAT HE BE PLACED ON DISABILITY RETIREMENT <br />AS PERMITTED BY THE CITY'S RETIREMENT PLAN. ON MOTION BY MR. SCRIBNER~ SECONDED BY <br />MR. LEE~ MR.
