THREE PETITIONS WERE PRESENTED AND SEVERAL PEOPLE ADDRESSED THE <br /> <br />COUNCIL IN OPPOSITION, A HOTION BY MR, LEE~ SECONDED BY MR, SCRIBNER THAT THE <br /> <br />REQUEST BE DENIED WAS UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED. <br /> <br /> THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ALLOW A SALES OFFICE IN SUBDIVISIONS DURING <br /> <br />DEVELOPMENT WAS RESUMED. MR, LEROY BRUTON AGAIN ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL ON BEHALF OF <br /> <br />THIS REQUEST. AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING SECTION 9 <br /> <br />OF ARTICLE IV OF APPENDIX II ENTITLED 'USE REGULATIONS' OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />C~ARLOTTESVILLE~ 1959, BY THE ADDITION THERETO OF A NEW USE REGULATION NUMBERED 10", <br /> <br />WAS OFFERED BY MR. LEE~ SECONDED BY MR, PONTON AND CARRIED OVER TO THE 'NEXT MEETING <br /> <br />FOR CONSIDERATION, <br /> <br /> A COMMUNICATION WAS PRESENTED REQUESTING THAT THE CITY CONSTRUCT AND ACCEPT THE <br /> <br />1300 BLOCK OF ROSE HILL DRIVE, -THE CITY MANAGER REPORTED THAT THE COST OF CONSTRUCTING <br /> <br />THIS STREET WOULD BE ~2~850,00, ON MOTION BY MR, SCRIBNER~ SECONDED BY MR, PONTON~ <br /> IT WAS UNANIHOUSLY RESOLVED THAT THE CITY CONSTRUCT AND ACCEPT~ UPON COMPLETION) THE <br /> 1300 BLOCK OF ROSE HILL DRIVE¢ PROVlDED¢ THE PROPERTY OWNERS WILL DEPOSIT WITH THE <br /> CITY THE SUM OF ~2,850.00. <br /> <br /> A REQUEST FOR UTILITIES FOR THE QUEEN CHARLOTTE SUBDIVISION, WHICH IS OUTSIDE <br /> <br />THE ClTY~ WAS REFERRED TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR RECOMMENDATION. <br /> <br /> A REQUEST TO ACCEPT CAMELLIA DRIVE INTO THE CITY STREET SYSTEM WAS REFERRED TO <br /> <br /> <br />
