LEE~ SECONDED BY MR, SCRIBNER~ THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS <br />UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ THE COUNCIL OF THIS CITY IS OF THE OPINION THAT ROUTE 250-A BY- <br />PASS SHOULD BE IMPROVED BETWEEN THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY OVERPASS AND THE WEsTCiTY <br />LIMITS IN ORDER TO ADEQUATELY HANDLE THE PRESENT AND FUTURE TRAFFIC WHICH WISHES <br />TO USE THIS HIGHWA'Y~ AND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ MANY ACCIDENTS ARE OCCURING ON THE ROUTE ~50-A BY-PAss AT THE <br /> MCINTIRE ROAD INTERSECTION DUE T,O THE LACK OF A STORAGE LANE FOR WESTBOUND TRAFFIC <br /> WHICH DESIRES TO MAKE A LEFT TURN MOVEMENT INTO MClNTIRE ROAD (SEE RECOMMENDATION <br /> IN TRAFFIC REPORT PREPARED BY S, H, D.), AND <br /> <br /> <br />
