Mr. Lynch noted that during a recent concert <br />the sound level went up during the last 15 minutes of the show. <br /> <br /> Dr. Brown said he thinks the Pavilion will come up with something that will <br />work. He asked that Council receive updates, including times of concerts. <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch said it boils down to decibel levels. <br /> <br /> Mr. Schilling said he would like to have updates for the public. He said sound <br />measurements at the sound board may not be a good indicator of noise in the <br />neighborhood. He said he agrees it needs to be quantified, but said it also needs to be <br />qualified. <br /> <br />Mr. Caravati noted that we do not have a noise ordinance in business districts. <br /> <br /> Ms. Hamilton said she agrees that we need to revisit the idea of a noise ordinance <br />in business districts. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Ms. Ilene Patterson, 623 Hinton Avenue, read a portion of the City Code <br />regarding Council's noise policy. She said the music is too loud until 10:45 p.m. <br />said decibel levels should be enforced. <br /> <br />She <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Lynch, seconded by Mr. Caravati, Ms. Cheryl Lewis was <br />reappointed and Mr. Michael Farruggio was appointed to four-year terms on the Planning <br />Commission by the following vote: Ayes: Dr. Brown, Mr. Caravati, Ms. Hamilton, Mr. <br />Lynch, Mr. Schilling.
