THAT THE DEPOSIT FOR UTILITIES BE HELD UNTIL THE <br />REPORT OF STREET COMMITTEE SIDEWALKS ARE REPAIRED, THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE <br />RE: CRESTMONT AVE. CATCH BASINS AND STORM WATER LINES COMPLETED, ANO <br />A CORRECTED PLAT IS PUT TO RECORD. <br />2. DAVI5, MR. FORBES, MR. HILL, MR. MICHIE AND MR. WEINBERG. <br />ABSENT: NONE. <br />SHE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF DECEMBER 19, 1955 WERE READ AND APPROVED. <br />MR. W. A. RINEHART ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL AND PRESENTED THE FOLLOWING <br />REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE APPOINTED TO STUDY THE SCHOOL BUS OPERATION IN THE CITY: <br />YOUR COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS THAT THE BUSES STOP AT THE CURB <br />AND DISCHARGE CHILDREN WHO ARE TO REMAIN ON THE SIDEWALK UNTIL <br />THE BUS PULLS AWAY AND THEN CROSS THE STREET. TRAFFIC WOULD NOT <br />BE REQUIRED TO STOP FOR THESE SPECIAL BUSES. <br />COMMITTEE REPORT RE: SCHOOL <br />BUS OPERATION IN CITY IT IS URGED BY THIS COMMITTEE THAT THE PARENTS INVOLVED GIVE <br />ALL POSSIBLE ASSISTANCE AND SUPERVISION AT THE VARIOUS BUS STOPS <br />WHERE THE CHILDREN ARE DISCHARGED. THE COMMITTEE FURTHER RECOiAMENOS <br />THAT EACH BUS HAVE AN OLDER CHILD AGT AS MONITOR TO REMIND CHILDREN ' <br />TO STAY ON THE SIDEWALK• <br />IN ORDER TO HAVE THIS PROCEDURE WORKABLE WE BELIEVE IT WILL BE <br />
