<br /> 29 <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati said that the priority to examine revenue sources in an effort to <br />expand and diversity the funding base is a laudable goal, and asked what the Schools <br />intend to do in that regard, especially given the needs of English as a Second Language <br />and special education. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gillaspie said that is one of the reasons a full time grants writer is being <br />considered. <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati noted that there is a school by school analysis of staffing, but not <br />one for central administration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gillaspie said there have been changes and reduction in central administration <br />staff in the past few years. <br /> <br /> Ms. Gronlund said that a Human Resources study is looking at staffing. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lou Bograd, School Board member, said it is unrealistic to expect a dramatic <br />realignment given the fact that a new Superintendent will be hired in the near future. <br /> <br /> Dr. Brown thanked the School Board and Acting Superintendent for actively <br />involving principals in the budget process. <br /> <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />_____________________________ _____________________________ <br />President Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
