4 <br />Department of Homeland Security, through the Department of Justice, is hereby <br />appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenue – $73,687 <br />$36,843.50 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900070 (Police) G/L Account: <br />430110 <br />$36,843.50 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900071(Fire) G/L Account: <br />430110 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $73,687 <br />$36,843.50 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900070 (Police) G/L Account: <br />520900 <br />$36,843.50 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900071 (Fire) G/L Account: <br />520900 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br /> , that this appropriation is conditioned upon the <br />receipt of $73,687 from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />d. : $41,500 – Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Grant <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has awarded <br />the City of Charlottesville a Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Grant to fund <br />the Students Responding in Peaceful and Positive Ways Program in the Charlottesville <br />City Schools in the amount of $41,500; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Charlottesville City Schools will provide a local in-kind match <br />in the amount of $20,750; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the grant award covers the period from October 1, 2006 to June 30, <br />2007. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $41,500, received as a grant from the Virginia <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services, is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenue - $41,500 <br /> <br />$41,500 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900072 (CCF) G/L Account: <br />430110 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $41,500 <br /> <br />$25,425 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900072 (CCF) G/L Account: <br />530010 <br />$2,000 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900072 (CCF) G/L Account: <br />530100 <br /> <br />$14,075Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900072 (CCF) G/L Account: <br />530670 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br />, that this appropriation is conditioned upon the <br /> <br />receipt of $41,500 from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. <br /> <br />nd <br />APPROPRIATION <br />e. : $182,500 – Drug Court Grant (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Supreme Court of Virginia awarded the Byrne Grant in the <br />amount of $182,500 for the Charlottesville/Albemarle Drug Court Treatment Court in <br />order to fund salaries, benefits, and operating expenses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , the City of Charlottesville serves as the fiscal agent for this grant <br />program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County both have <br />dedicated local matches to this grant, totaling $108,161; and <br /> <br />
