4 <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $17,758, received from the Charlottesville <br />Police Foundation, is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenue – $17,758 <br /> <br />Fund: 106 Cost Center: 3101001001 G/L Account: 451020 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $17,758 <br /> <br />Fund: 106 Cost Center: 3101001001 G/L Account: 541040 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br /> , that this appropriation is conditioned upon the <br />receipt of $17,758 from the Charlottesville Police Foundation. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />e. : $91,867 – Schools Contribution to Capital Improvement <br />nd <br /> Fund (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Charlottesville City Schools makes an annual contribution to <br />their school’s small capital improvement program in the amount of $91,867. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $91,867 received from the Charlottesville City <br />Schools is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenues - $91,867 <br />Fund: 424 Project: SH-001 G/L Account: 432085 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $91,867 <br />Fund: 424 Project: SH-001 G/L Account: 599999 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />f. : Special Permit for Family Day Home at 1015 Druid <br /> Avenue <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, Nora Ali Gaffney (“Applicant”) has requested a special use permit <br />with respect to property identified on City Tax Map 60 as Parcel 127.1 (1015 Druid <br />Avenue), consisting of approximately 0.139 acres (“Subject Property”), to allow use as a <br />family day home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the subject parcel is zoned “R-1S” (Single Family Residential) <br />where, pursuant to §34-420 of the City Code, family day homes are allowed by Special <br />Use Permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , a joint public hearing on this application was held before the City <br />Council and Planning Commission on March 13, 2007, following notice to the public and <br />to adjacent property owners as required by law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, on March 13, 2007, based on the information presented by <br />Neighborhood Development Services staff as well as by the Applicant, the Planning <br />Commission recommended that the application be approved, with conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, this City Council finds and determines that granting the Special Use <br />Permit would be consistent with City Code §34-420 and the criteria generally applicable <br />to special use permits under Chapter 34 of the City Code; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Charlottesville City Council that a special use permit <br />is hereby granted to allow use of the Subject Property as a family day home, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Operation of the family day home shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to <br />3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; and <br />2. Enrollment shall be limited to a maximum of ten (10) children per day. <br /> <br /> <br />
