RINEMART ADDRESSER THE COUNCIL AND PRESENTED THE FOLLOWING <br />REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE APPOINTED TO S7UDY THE SCHOOL BU5 OPERATION IN THE CITY: <br />YOVR COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS THAT THE BUSES STOP AT THE CURB <br />AND DISCHARGE CHILDREN WHO ARE TO REMgIN ON THE SIOEMALK UNTIL <br />THE BUS PULLS AWAY AND THEN CROSS THE STREET. TRAFFIC WOULD NOT <br />8E REQUIREp TO STOP FOR THESE SPECIAL BUSES. <br />COMMITTEE REPORT RE: SCHOOL <br />BUS OPERATION IN CITY IT IS URGED BY THIS COMMITTEE THAT THE PARENTS INVOLVED GIVE <br />ALL POSSIBLE ASSISTANCE AND SUPERVISION AT THE VARIOUS 8US STOPS <br />WHERE THE CHILDREN ARE DISCHARGED. THE COMMITTEE FURTHER RECOi~1MENDS <br />THAT EACH BUS HAVE AN OLDER CHILD ACT AS MONITOR TO REMIND CHILDREN <br />TO STAY ON THE SIDEWALK. <br />IN ORDER TO HAVE THIS PROCEDURE WORKABLE WE BELIEVE IT WILL BE <br />
