NORMALLY THIS INFORMATION IS SET FORTH <br />IN THE COURT PROCEEDINGS HOWEVER WE APPRECIATE THE CONCERN OF THESE PARENTS <br />STATEMENT GONCERNING'THE AND FEEL THAT THE CITY PLAN ON SCHOOLS AS SET FORTH BELOW SHOULD BE GIVEN <br />PUBLIC SCHOOLS AFTER <br />ANNEXATION. THe MAP PREPARED 8Y THE SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT AND SUBMITTED <br />HEREWITH SHOWS:'~A~ PRESENT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICTS !N THE CITY OF <br />CHARLOTTESVILLE AND ~8~ A PLAN FOR PROVIDING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FACILITIES FOR <br />SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE AREA PROPOSED FOR ANNEXATION THROUGH AN EXTENSION OF <br />PRESENT SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND THE CREATION OF A NEW SCHOOL DISTRICT IN THE AREA <br />NORTH OF THE ROUTE 25O BYPASS AND BARRACKS ROAD AND WEST OF THE SOUTHERN <br />RAILWAY. <br />2. IN 1957 THE CITY VOTERS AUTHORIZED A BOND ISSUE OF $1,200,000. TO <br />ENLARGE BURNLEY-MORAN~ JOHNSON CLARK AND JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN ORDER <br />TO PROVIDE FOR INCREASER ENROLLMENT IN THE CITY AND THE ANTICIPATED INCREASE IN <br />ENROLLMENT EXPECTED FROM ANNEXATION. THESE ADDITIONS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. <br />3.
