40; <br />AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "ANNUAL TAX LEVY IMPOSING TAXES ON PERSONS AND PROPERTY <br />ORDINANCE RE: <br />ANNUAL TAX LEVY <br />4 CARRIED OVER <br />FOR THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST ON THE CITY DEBT, FOR CREATING A SINKING FUND THEREFOR, <br />FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT AND CITY SCHOOLS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES" <br />WAS OFFERED BY MR. SCRIBNER, SECONDED BY MR. WEINBERG, AND CARRIED OVER TO A SPECIAL <br />MEETING TO BE HELD ON APRIL 25, 1960 AT 2:00 P. M. <br />THE CITY MANAGER ADVISED THE COUNCIL THAT MR. MITCHELL VAN YAHRES AND THE <br />MATTER RE: BEAUTIFYING <br />CITY STREETS BY PLANTING <br />TREES APPROVED. <br />PLANNING ENGINEER WERE DEVELOPING A PLAN FOR BEAUTIFYING THE CITY STREETS BY <br />PLANTING TREES ON STREETS WHERE THERE ARE NONE AND REPLACING OTHERS WITH MORE <br />APPROPRIATE TREES. MR, VAN YAHRES ADDRESSED THE COUNCIL AND EXPLAINED THE PLAN IN <br />DETAIL AND RECOMMENDED THAT THE PLANTING ALONG MONTICELLO AVENUE BE UNDERTAKEN AS <br />OF TREES <br />THE FIRST PHASE OF THE PLAN. HE STATED THE COST~FOR THIS STREET WOULD BE $1,200.00. <br />ON MOTION BY MR. DAVIS, SECONDED BY MR.
