Absent: None. Minutes of the Meetings of June 13, 1960 and June 15, 1960 were read and approved. The adjourned public hearing on proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance was held on this date. No one appeared for or against these Adjourned Public Hearing re: Proposed Amendments proposals. A communication was presented from the Planning Commission to Zoning Ordinance recommending that the proposed amendments not be adopted. On motion by Mr. Scribner, seconded by Mr. Davis, the foregoing report was unanimously adopted. An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING PARAGRAPH Ordinance defeated re: 6 OF SECTION 2 OF ARTICLE II OF APPENDIX II OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF Boarding Houses CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1959, ENTITLED'BOARDING HOUSES° which was offered at the meeting of the Council on April 25, 1960 was defeated by the following recorded vote: Ayes: Mr. Michie. Nues: Mr. Coleman, Mr. Davis, Mr. Scribner, and Mr. Weinberg. An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING PARAGRAPH Ordinanc® defeated re: 40 OF SECTION 2 OF ARTICLE II OF APPENDIX II OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF Rooming House CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1959 ENTITLED`ROOMING HOUSE" which was offered at the meeting of the Council on April 25, 1960 was defeated by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Michie. Noes: Mr. Coleman, Mr. Davis, Mr. Scribner, and Mr. Weinberg. An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING SECTION 9 OF ARTICLE IV OF APPENDIX II OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1959 Ordinance defeated re; ENTITLED'USE REGULATIONS' BY THE ADDITION THERETO OF A NEW PARAGRAPH NUMBERED Use Regulations 10" which was offered at the meeting of the Council on April 25, 1960 was defeated by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Michie. Noes: Mr. Coleman, Mr. Davis, Mr. Scribner, and Mr. Weinberg. On motion by Mr. Scribner, seconded by Mr. Coleman, Mr. John L. Hammond Members appointed School was appointed to the School Board for a three year term, and Mr. E. V. Thacker, Jr. Board and Mr. P. A. Wallenborn were reappointed for three year terms expiring June 30, 1963, by unanimous vote.
