4 <br /> On motion by Dr. Brown, seconded by Mr. Taliaferro, Mr. Tim O’Brien was <br />appointed (Ayes: Dr. Brown, Ms. Edwards, Mr. Huja, Mr. Norris, Mr. Taliaferro. Noes: <br />None) to an unexpired plus two-year term on the Rivanna Solid Waste Advisory <br />Committee. This term will expire on December 31, 2011. <br /> <br /> On motion by Dr. Brown, seconded by Mr. Taliaferro, Dr. David Brown was <br />appointed as the Council representative on the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority and Ms. <br />Holly Edwards was appointed as the Council representative on the Rivanna Water and <br />Sewer Authority (Ayes: Dr. Brown, Ms. Edwards, Mr. Huja, Mr. Norris, Mr. Taliaferro. <br />Noes: None), pending legal authorization. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> Mr. Norris noted that revised versions of the zoning ordinance and fee revision <br />ordinance have been presented to Council. He said the street acceptance ordinance has <br />been removed from the agenda. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Huja, seconded by Dr. Brown, the following consent agenda <br />items were approved by the following vote. Ayes: Dr. Brown, Ms. Edwards, Mr. Huja, <br />Mr. Norris, Mr. Taliaferro. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> <br />a. Minutes of March 5, 16, 20 24 and 25 <br /> <br />nd <br />APPROPRIATION <br />b. : $73,483 – Law Enforcement Grant (2 reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City of Charlottesville, through the Police Department, has <br />received a 2009 Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program grant award from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services in the amount of <br />$73,483, to be used to expand upon regional crime information sharing networks through <br />the law enforcement information system known as LInX. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $73,483, received from the Commonwealth of <br />Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (2009 Law Enforcement Terrorism <br />Prevention Program) is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenue – $73,483 <br />$73,483 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900125 G/L Account: 430120 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $73,483 <br />$73,483 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900125 G/L Account: 530010 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br /> , that this appropriation is conditioned upon the <br />receipt of $73,483 from the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Criminal Justice <br />Services (2009 Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program). <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : $11,500 – Reimbursement from Piedmont Housing <br />nd <br /> Alliance (2 reading) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED <br />by the City Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia <br />that the sum of $11,500 is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenues <br />FundProjectG/L Account <br />: 425 : P-00439 : 451999 <br /> <br />Expenditures <br />FundProjectG/L Account <br />: 425 : P-00439 : 599999 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />d. : $39,070 – Domestic Violence Coordinator Grant <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br /> <br />
