3 <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City of Charlottesville, through Parks and Recreation, has <br />received approval for reimbursement up to $80,000 from the U.S. Department of <br />Agriculture to provide free breakfast and lunch to children attending summer camp <br />programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the grant award covers the period from period June 1, 2009 through <br />December 31, 2009. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $80,000, received from the U.S. Department of <br />Agriculture, is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenue – $80,000 <br /> <br />Fund: 211 Internal Order: 1900126 G/L Account: 431110 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $80,000 <br /> <br />Fund: 211 Internal Order: 1900126 G/L Account: 530670 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />b. : $5,712.28 – Reimbursement for Sheriff Extradition <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City of Charlottesville’s Sheriff’s Office will receive $5,712.28 <br />from the Commonwealth of Virginia reimbursing expenses related to the extradition of <br />inmates from other states to Charlottesville’s Circuit Court. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that $5,712.28 from the Commonwealth of Virginia is hereby <br />appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenues-$5,712.28 <br />Fund: 105 Cost Center: 1501001000 G/L Account: 430080 <br /> <br />Expenditures-$5,712.28 <br />Fund: 105 Cost Center: 1501001000 G/L Account: 530100 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : $641,289.20 – Community Development Block Grant for <br />nd <br /> FY 2010 (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , the City of Charlottesville has been advised of the approval by the <br />U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development of a Community Development <br />Block Grant for the 2009-2010 fiscal year in the total amount of $641,289.20 that <br />includes the entitlement from HUD of $520,000 and reprogramming of $121,298.20. <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , City Council has received recommendations for the expenditure of <br />funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Task Force and the City <br />Planning Commission; and has conducted a public hearing thereon as provided by law; <br />now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the City Council of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the <br />sums hereinafter set forth are hereby appropriated from funds received from the aforesaid <br />grant to the following individual expenditure accounts in the Community Development <br />Block Grant Fund for the respective purposes set forth; provided, however, that the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized to transfer funds between and among such individual <br />accounts as circumstances may require, to the extent permitted by applicable federal <br />grant regulations. <br /> <br />ACCOUNT PURPOSEAMOUNT <br /> <br /> <br />CODE** <br /> <br />HOUSING <br /> <br /> <br />
